For now, you can take a look at the galactic map, in its first incarnation with stars randomly distributed; and in its second incarnation with distribution of stars made more even. There should be no "bad places to start" in this galaxy.
For the technically minded, the host configuration settings are virtually finalised. Those of you who played in my previous game may note a marked similarity settings-wise.
